Professional all-round refurbishment of a waste wood shredder
The Crambo waste wood shredder was a burnt-out machine that had not been in use for a long time.
A slow-running 2-shaft shredder that used to shred waste wood for the production of chipboard before it was transferred to our company.
Our team worked on the machine for around 1,500 hours.
Not only was the Crambo completely dismantled, fully serviced and repainted, but we also rebuilt its drive system.
Before our refurbishment, it was powered by a diesel engine and now runs on an electric motor.
Of course, the entire control system for this machine also had to be rebuilt.
After completion, the waste wood shredder was sold to the company MG Handel, which now uses it as a rental machine in a chipboard company.
The Crambo-E has now been in use for four months, has already clocked up more than 500 operating hours and is running as reliably as the day it was delivered.
