- Aggressive apron feeder for continuous material feed.
- A 6-blade rotor is fitted as standard. A 12-knife rotor is available as an option, offering maximum flexibility. Like the standard rotor, this can be operated with 6 knives or flexibly converted to 12 knives to guarantee maximum throughput with minimum fines when producing small woodchippings.

Highlights – Best wood chip quality
The 3D screen basket ensures perfect end product quality when chopping by preventing overlengths. The perfect coordination of the screen basket and knife handle ensures the highest quality. The hydraulic opening of the screen basket hood enables a quick, tool-free screen basket change, which can be carried out with the loading crane in just approx. 5 minutes.
Blower tube
The discharge pipe enables precise and loss-free loading of woodchippings and is available as a front or rear attachment, with the option of a folding blower pipe.
Blower
The blower speed can be adjusted hydraulically, steplessly and independently of the chipper drum speed to enable precise adaptation to different working conditions and material types.
Chopping drum
Closed chopping drum with 6 or optionally 12 chopping knives with large rotor flywheel mass for efficient and uniform shredding at high throughput rates.
Feed roller
Material feed by aggressive slat conveyor and press-on feed roller ensures even material intake and optimum throughput, even under difficult conditions.
Screw feeder
4 massive augers convey the wood chips in the direction of material flow without deflection from the rotor directly into the blower. This drastically reduces the risk of blockages.

Spiral fan

The DONAR 5810V
The Donar 5810 V is an innovative truck chipper, built on a Mercedes Arocs 6×6. With its full all-wheel drive, even difficult terrain can be negotiated with ease. The chipper unit can be flexibly adjusted to all chipping requirements from P16 to P100 (G30 to G100).
The Donar 5810 V consistently delivers the highest quality end product thanks to the closed rotor and optimum adjustment of the screen basket and knife handle. The shredding drum is a solid all-steel construction and ensures a high centrifugal mass.
The special arrangement of the chipper blades allows the Donar 5810 V to run with low vibration and ensures the optimum wood chip structure for all types of wood. The chipper can be fully controlled from the truck cab. The forward and reverse cross feed transports the wood by slat conveyor to the floating feed drum. The drum can be pressed on hydraulically and is therefore able to reliably feed in even particularly bulky crown wood. The size of the wood chips can be flexibly adjusted by selecting the appropriate knife handle.
